Devon Edwards is currently a committee member for the Hollywood Professional Association for the Young Entertainment Professionals mentorship program as well as a Post Production Coordinator for the FX Network show “Snowfall, Season 6”.
Devon relished an exemplary military career where he served the US Navy, US Army, and US Air Force (RET). Devon holds a BA in Cinematic Arts & Science from Columbia College Chicago and a MS in Cinema Production from DePaul University.
Devon has since completed the Writers Guild Foundation Writers Program for Veterans, the Academy’s Diverse Reader Training Workshop of Story Analysis at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is an active member in the Melanin Poppin Scribes, The Story Tellers Session, Veterans in Media & Entertainment (VME), as well as the Warner Media Access to Action Alumni.
Devon was recently awarded the Gayle Stevens Award in 2020 for his continued service to the Sundance Institute and Film Festival for the past 10 years. Devon is embarking on a brand-new adventure in his quest to working his way up to becoming a Creative Executive by starting his own company True Tribe Productions LLC.
